Erasure-eque was formed in 2008 by two veteran musicians from the San Francisco.   They took to the stage in a subdued opening slot in a small club in Walnut Creek, CA. Erasure-esque wowed many that night and immediately set a path for what was to come in the years to follow.

Months after their debut performance, Erasure-esque, made their San Francisco debut at The Red Devil Lounge to a crowd that had been waiting months for their first chance to experience what many believe to be the best live tribute to Erasure. Over the years, Erasure-esque has graced the stages of some of San Francisco’s most popular live music venues including The Chapel, Slims, Rockit Room, Bimbo's, Cafe Du Nord, Red Devil Lounge, Brick & Mortar, and Kimo’s, as well as performing at SF's Castro Street Fair.  The buzz has continued to mount and has stretched beyond the Bay Area to places like New York City, Sacramento, Fresno, Seattle, Portland, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Sante Fe and Mexico!

Blue Savannah, Oh L'Amour,  Chorus, Chains of Love , A Little Respect, Sunday Girl, Run to the Sun, and Dead of Night are among the few of a rather extensive catalog of hits you will hear when this amazing likeness takes the stage. With glitter, sequins, feather boas, lights, sounds and all the flash and flamboyant attitude, Erasure-esque not only replicates the very sound of Erasure but captures and encompasses the very essence of what makes Erasure so hypnotically entertaining.

As Erasure-esque continues to amaze fans around the San Francisco Bay Area and around the country, we still all love what we are doing; whether it be Jason providing the warm vocal harmonies that fill out our sound, Nate who spends hours working over each individual note, sound, drum part and effect, or Vince who’s strong vocal talent, range and performance skills has brought this band to where they are today, it still gives us all the thrill to get up on the stage and perform the music that we all love, to the fans of the music that they love, which is of course all done as a Tribute to Erasure.
